On the 87th anniversary of the Haukar Football Club in Hafnarfjörður, a new basketball hall in Ásvellir was inaugurated at a formal ceremony. This is the first house in Iceland to be built with only basketball in mind and the new hall was named "Ólafssalur" in memory of Ólafur E. Rafnsson, President of ÍSÍ and President of FIBA Europe.
