Andri was born in Reykjavík in 1982. Graduated B.Arch (Hons) 1st Class from Edinburgh College of Art in 2007 and M.Arch with Distinction from Pratt Institute, New York in 2010.
Andri worked for ASK architects (parallel studies) from 2005-2008 and was project manager and exhibition designer at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York from 2010-2016 and Dubai from 2016-2017. Andri rejoined ASK Architects in February 2017.
Andri Klausen is one of ASK's owners and Chairman of the Board.
Árni Magnússon was born in Reykjavík in 1949 and finished his studies at Norges tekniske høgskole in Trondheim, Norway in 1976. Worked for the State Planning Agency while studying but after completing his studies at Höfði Drawing Studio in Reykjavík. He then worked in Knut Jeppesen's drawing room until independent business began.
Árni Magnússon was one of the owners of ASK architects until 2017.
Ásta was born in Reykjavík in 1980. She completed a B.A. degree in architecture from Arkitektskolen Århus in 2008 and a Candidate degree from the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole in Copenhagen in 2011. She spent a semester of internship with EBD Architect in Copenhagen and worked for Arkiteó in Reykjavík while studying. Ásta worked for Gröning Arkitekter and Cornelius+Vöge in Copenhagen from 2013-2016. Ásta started working for ASK Architects in September 2016. Ásta Berit is one of the owners of ASK Architects.
Gísli was born in Hafnarfjörður in 1957 and graduated in architecture in 1982 from Byggeteknisk Højskole, Horsens and studied architecture in 1993 from Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi, Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole Copenhagen. Has worked either as an independent or drawing room and most recently at Ingimundur Sveinsson's Drawing Studio in 2013-21. Joined ASK Architects in January 2022.

Gunnar was born in 1958 and completed a master's degree in architecture from Tekniska Högskolan in Helsinki in 1989. During his studies, he worked for Ark. Simo Järvinen ran his own practice from 1990-2000. He has worked for ASK since August 2000.

Gunnar Örn was born in Reykjavík in 1966. He graduated in architecture from the Technische Universität Berlin in 1996.
Worked with Atalier Kroh, Golan und Zareh and after studies with Eckhart Schmiedeskamp Architekt.

Hafdís was born in 1986 in Cavalier, North Dakota. She completed a B.A. degree in architecture from the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole in Copenhagen in 2012. She graduated with honors in 2021 from Arkitektskolen Aarhus, and was the recipient of the Cebra Award upon graduation. Hafdís has, amongst other things, worked as a part-time teacher at LHÍ and at Sei Studio. Hafdís has also completed a B.S. degree in business administration from Bifröst University. She joined ASK in February 2022.

Helgi Már was born in Svarfaðardalur in 1958 and graduated with a journeyman's degree in carpentry in 1980 and studies at Arkitekthøgskolen i Oslo in 1987. Worked with studies and after studies at Engh and Seip Arkitektkontor in Oslo. He has worked with ASK since 1987.
Helgi Már is one of the owners of ASK as well as the managing director.
Inga Rán was born in Reykjavík in 1993. She completed a B.A. degree in architecture from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2016 and a Candidate degree from the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole (KADK) in Copenhagen in 2019. Inga Rán worked for ASK architects in 2016-2017 and two summers at AP Drawing Studio during summer work with her studies. She rejoined ASK in November 2019.
Jakob was born in Reykjavík in 1984. He graduated as Cand.Arch from the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole in Copenhagen in 2012.
Jakob worked every summer from his teenage age years working construction at Breyting ehf. After his studies he worked for several years at Boldsen and Holm Arkitekter in Copenhagen and one year at the planning department of Qeqqata Kommunia in Sisimiut, Greenland. After returning home in 2017 Jakob has worked independently, teaching at the LHÍ and at the Drawing Room of Architects. He joined ASK in January 2021.
Páll was born in Reykjavík in 1952 and graduated from Lunds Tekniska Høgskola in Sweden in 1979. Worked during his studies, ma. at the Agricultural Building Institute, but after completing his studies at the Reykjavík Development Agency (nv. Urban Planning). He then worked in Knut Jeppesen's drawing room until independent business began.
Paul was one of the owners of ASK until 2020.
Sigríður was born in Reykjavík in 1961.
Graduated in architecture from the Arkitekthögskolen in Oslo in 1994. Sigríður worked for the drawing studio ArkiForum in Oslo 1994-1996 and for the drawing studio Spor Arkitekter in Oslo 1996-2001. Sigríður was a partner in the firm from 1997. In 2001 Sigríður worked for the drawing room Glama/Kím. She has since worked independently and has worked for ASK since June 2003.
Sigríður is one of the owners of ASK.
Sigurjóna was born in 1982 in Neskaupstaður and completed a BSc degree in construction at the end of 2023 at Reykjavik University. She did an internship with ASK Architects in spring 2023 and worked until the summer. Sigurjóna started working for ASK Architects in December 2023.
Sigurlaug was born in Copenhagen in 1967. Graduated in architecture from the Arkitektskolen í Árús in 1996. Sigurlaug worked for DesignGroup aps, Hermansen, Giese & Jörgensen in Copenhagen from 1996-98. He has worked at ASK since January 2000.
Sigurlaug is one of the owners of ASK and quality manager.
Sædís was born in Reykjavík in 1983. She graduated as a technical illustrator from Technical College in Hafnarfjörður in December 2005. Graduated with a Diploma in Civil Engineering in February 2015 and a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Reykjavik University in February 2019. Saudi worked for Battery Architects alongside school and the year after graduation. Saudi joined Ask Architects in January 2021.
Tryggvi was born in Akranes in 1979. Graduated as a master craftsman in carpentry from Technical College. He completed a diploma in civil engineering and a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Reykjavik University in 2014. Tryggvi started working for ASK Architects in May 2015.
Valdimar was born in Keflavík in 1951. He completed a BS degree in architecture from London and graduated as an architect from Lunds Tekniska Høgskola in Sweden in 1979. Worked in the drawing room of Magnús Skúlason and Sigurður Harðarson after completing his studies, until independent business began.
Valdimar was one of the owners of ASK until 2020.
Þorsteinn was born in Reykjavík in 1958 and graduated in architecture from Byggetekninsk Højskole, Copenhagen in 1983 and studied architecture from the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole (department of Prof. Knud Holscher) in Copenhagen in 1988. He worked with Ark. Krohn and Hartvig Rasmussen and after studying at the Dissing and Weitling Drawing Studio 1988-89. Worked for Ingimundur Sveinsson's Drawing Studio 1989-93 and ran Arcus ehf from 1998-2005 when he started working with ASK Architects. Þorsteinn is an active artist and has held numerous exhibitions of paintings, more specifically in www.formnatura.com.
Össur was born in Höfn in Hornafjörður in 1971. Graduated with a journeyman's degree in carpentry from Reykjavik Technical College in 1999. Graduated as a construction engineer from the Technical University of Iceland in 2002 and certified as a master builder the same year. Graduated as a building engineer from Odense Tekniske Skole in Odense in 2005. Össur worked as Head of Department at Technology and Environment at Hornafjarðarbær before joining Ask in January 2007.
