Quality system ISO 9001
The company has established, documented and implemented a quality management system which it maintains and is continually improving in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. The company has control over any processes that may be hosted outside the company, and the control is specified in the quality management system. On 22 June 2012, the quality management system of ASK architects was certified by Vottun hf. as meeting the requirements of the ÍST EN ISO 9001 standard. The certificate includes: Civil engineering design and consultancy services in the fields of architecture, planning and environmental design, as well as design supervision.
The company has done what is described here, to implement a quality management system: Identify and define the processes necessary for the quality management system and its application. Determining the sequence and interaction of processes. Determine the criteria and mechanisms needed to ensure effective operation and control of processes. Ensure the availability of the necessary resources and information to support the operation and monitoring of processes. Establish practices where processes are monitored, measured and analysed. Implement the actions necessary to achieve the desired results and continuous improvement of these processes.
